Laser engraving photo software that keeps customer photos in your workshop

Photo Studio — material profiles, tone work, ten dithering methods plus grayscale, 72 controls in 10 work areas — runs on the device. So do QR codes, the on-device modes of the background remover and the standard setting of Photo Upgrade. The photo is processed where it already is, and nothing is counted per image.

Two tools are deliberately server-side because they need more computing power: Cut Pro for hair and difficult edges, and Enhance Pro for very soft source photos. The background remover's Auto setting uses Cut Pro for hard subjects; the on-device modes never do. If you want every photo to stay local, choose the device modes.

The prepared image stays in the same project: place it in the Artboard with text or a QR code, or send it straight to Laser Control in the desktop app, which runs diode lasers over GRBL and CO2 lasers over Ruida. No export and re-import in between.
