One studio for your image. One control for your laser.

Vextrify unites image optimization, millimetre-precise camera alignment and direct machine control. Prepare your work in the browser or the desktop app, align it on the workpiece with the camera, check it with a dry run, then engrave on a diode or CO2 laser.

Camera-aligned control for diode and CO2 lasers, each machine with its own profile and job.
Photo Studio, 3D relief, vectorize, and AI image editing to prepare the artwork.
Layered artboard, batch processing, and reusable profiles for production runs.
Vextrify Laser Control — the real machine control interface

“Finally, I only need one piece of software for everything.” — Ralf, Profit GmbH

Create, prepare, run — from one project. Nobody else does all three.

Vextrify is not one tool fewer, it is one more: image preparation at specialist depth, layout and vectors, 3D reliefs, contours, batch processing — and the machine runs from the same project, camera-aligned. Putting that together today means two to four programs that know nothing about each other.

Others hand you a file. Vextrify hands you an interface.

Image preparation here is not only a window, it is an endpoint. That lets you connect what already runs in your shop — and no other laser software does that.

POST /v1/prepare

Image in, laser-ready file out

Your shop, your order system or a script sends the customer photo to the endpoint and gets the finished engraving file back — material profile and recipe applied, nobody sitting in front of it.

job.completed · job.failed

Your system hears about it immediately

Every job reports back to your endpoint by webhook. Failures too — an image that will not do has to reach you before your customer asks.

Zapier · Make · n8n

Connect it without a developer

If you would rather not write code, hang the endpoint off Zapier, Make or n8n and reach thousands of applications: spreadsheet, CRM, storage, notification.

Your own keys

Access you can fence in

One API key per purpose, with scope and expiry. One for the shop, one for the workshop, and neither opens more than it needs to.

Batch

200 images, one recipe

What worked once runs across the whole order — same tones, same dot pattern, same material profile.

Export

Also without Vextrify at the machine

If the laser hangs off another program, you get clean files for LightBurn, EZCAD and Ruida controllers.

Run the laser yourself — camera-aligned, on diode and CO2.

Not just a file: a real control surface. Connect over USB, line your design up on the real material with a calibrated camera, frame and dry-run, then run the job — on diode and CO2 lasers. And when you need to export, it produces clean files for any common laser software.

Vextrify is not locked to one way of working. Browser and desktop stand side by side: flexible for everyday use, powerful at the production desk, and without cloud lock-in for core workflows.

Customer photos stay in the shop
Portraits and order files are not uploaded for preparation. If you work with pictures of people, you have to be able to explain that to your client.
Internet down, production continues
Prepare, align, engrave — all on the workshop PC. A dead line does not stop the machine.
No per-image billing
No credits, no image packs, no queue on somebody else's server. The computer that is already standing there does the work.
The machine is local anyway
The laser runs over USB. Keeping everything before that in the same place saves the detour through the cloud and back.

One price for real production, not a single filter tool.

The questions that matter before you buy.

Why Vextrify instead of LightBurn?+

Because it is not either-or, it is far more. LightBurn runs the machine — so does Vextrify, camera-aligned, with a dry run, for diode and CO2. On top of that comes everything you otherwise buy a second and third program for: image preparation with material profiles, ten dot patterns and greyscale, 3D reliefs, vectorizing, contours, workpiece masks, QR, batch processing, and an API for your own workflows. One program, one project, one price.

Do I still need a separate image-prep service?+

No. That is what Photo Studio is built for: pick the material, pick the goal, check the result at engraving size. White areas of your source stay untouched — measured across 168 material and goal combinations, zero burned dots, where previously 3.5 to 14 percent of the area burned along.

What do I pay for the same thing today?+

Image preparation and machine control bought separately come to around 329 € in the first year — and you end up with two programs that know nothing about each other. Studio Pro is 149.99 € a year and includes both, plus relief, vector, contour, QR, batch and the API.

Can I really run my laser with it?+

Yes, from the desktop app: diode over GRBL, CO2 over Ruida. Camera alignment on the real workpiece, framing and a dry run before anything burns, live job control with start, pause, resume and stop. Several machines can be managed, each with its own profile, calibration and job; one is actively connected at a time.

Can I wire Vextrify into my own workflow?+

Yes, and no other laser software lets you. POST /v1/prepare takes an image from your shop or order system and returns the laser-ready file; webhooks report job.completed and job.failed to your endpoint. If you would rather not write code, hang it off Zapier, Make or n8n.

What happens when the internet goes down?+

You keep working. Preparation, alignment and engraving run locally on the workshop PC, and customer photos are not uploaded for it. Only licence checks and updates need a connection.

I already own LightBurn. Was that wasted?+

No. You can use Vextrify for the image side alone and export clean files for LightBurn, EZCAD and Ruida controllers. If you later want to drive the machine directly, it is already there.

Is it worth it if I mostly cut?+

Yes. There is a one-time licence: Lifetime Pro at 249 € — the same ballpark as LightBurn on its own, except image preparation, 3D relief, vectorizing, contours, QR, workpiece masks, batch processing and the API are already in it. You pay barely more and have everything ready the day a customer does bring a photo. Studio Online and updates are included for 12 months.
