The short answer

Yes — Vextrify works with Vevor. Vevor CO2 lasers with a Ruida controller — such as the larger models that ship with RDWorks — connect to Vextrify for live control; smaller Vevor models differ, so check that your control panel or software says Ruida or RDWorks. Beyond control, Vextrify is a full suite: it prepares photos, removes backgrounds, vectorizes logos and lays out jobs, then runs the machine — and it manages several machines, each in its own tab, on macOS and Windows. You can start free in the browser and add the desktop app for live control.

  • Connects to Vevor CO2 lasers
  • Framing, dry-run and live job control
  • Built-in photo, background, vector and relief prep

Connecting your Vevor

Vevor CO2 lasers with a Ruida controller — such as the larger models that ship with RDWorks — connect to Vextrify for live control; smaller Vevor models differ, so check that your control panel or software says Ruida or RDWorks. Once connected, Vextrify gives you framing to position the job, a dry-run to check travel, and live control to start, pause, resume or stop — with the device's safety limits respected. If you would rather finish in another tool, Vextrify exports clean files for LightBurn and EZCAD, and .rd files for Ruida controllers.

  • USB connection with profile detection
  • Framing, dry-run and live job control
  • Clean exports for LightBurn / EZCAD / Ruida (.rd)

Prepare the artwork in the same app

The biggest difference from a plain controller is everything that happens before the burn. With your Vevor, Vextrify lets you prepare photos for engraving, remove busy backgrounds, extract cut contours, vectorize logos to SVG and lay everything out millimetre-accurately on the machine bed — all feeding straight into the job, with no exporting and re-importing between programs.

  • Photo engraving prep with material-aware tones
  • Background removal, contour-to-SVG and vectorize
  • Millimetre-accurate layout on the machine bed

More than a controller

Vextrify runs natively on macOS and Windows and in the browser, so your Vevor workflow is not tied to one operating system. A calibrated camera places designs exactly on the material, a built-in material test grid helps you find your own speed and power, and you can manage several machines, each in its own tab from one license — useful as soon as you add a second machine.

  • Native macOS and Windows, plus browser
  • Camera placement on the material
  • Several machines, each in its own tab, one license
