Yes — Vextrify works with xTool. GRBL-based xTool machines that connect over USB — the D1, D1 Pro and S1 — work with Vextrify like any GRBL laser. The newer galvo and hybrid models (such as the F1 and M1 Ultra) use xTool's own software, so for those Vextrify prepares laser-ready files rather than driving the machine. Beyond control, Vextrify is a full suite: it prepares photos, removes backgrounds, vectorizes logos and lays out jobs, then runs the machine — and it can drive several lasers at once on macOS and Windows. Connecting your xTool

GRBL-based xTool machines that connect over USB — the D1, D1 Pro and S1 — work with Vextrify like any GRBL laser. The newer galvo and hybrid models (such as the F1 and M1 Ultra) use xTool's own software, so for those Vextrify prepares laser-ready files rather than driving the machine. Once connected, Vextrify gives you framing to position the job, a dry-run to check travel, and live control to start, pause, resume or stop — with the device's safety limits respected. If you would rather finish in another tool, Vextrify exports clean files for LightBurn, EZCAD or Ruida.

Prepare the artwork in the same app

The biggest difference from a plain controller is everything that happens before the burn. With your xTool, Vextrify lets you prepare photos for engraving, remove busy backgrounds, extract cut contours, vectorize logos to SVG and lay everything out on a millimetre-accurate Artboard — all feeding straight into the job, with no exporting and re-importing between programs.

More than a controller
